Rental Counseling (RRRC)

PHA’s rental counseling begins by focusing on improving each client’s financial literacy and money management skills. Counselors review each clients’ financial status, credit history, and debt obligations, and teach clients to budget and save, and to improve their credit. Counselors teach clients how to find and apply for rental housing, and how to be a responsible and informed renter, fostering positive landlord relationships, and advocating for fair housing rights.
